Do you offer extended warranties on appliances?

No, and here's why that works in your favour. Extended warranties rarely deliver real value. In most cases they duplicate protections you already have under consumer law, contain exclusions that limit real-world claims, and generate profit for the seller rather than genuine peace of mind for you.

Instead, we handpick appliances that include up to 7 years manufacturer warranty as standard, at no extra cost. You get stronger, more meaningful coverage backed directly by the manufacturer, with no hidden terms or extra premiums to pay.

Can you install appliances upstairs or in difficult access areas?

Yes, in most cases. Our team is experienced with multi-storey homes, upper-floor apartments, and a wide range of property types. That said, certain situations do require advance planning. Spiral staircases, multiple flights of stairs, narrow hallways, or restricted entry points may need special arrangements to ensure safe delivery and installation without damage to your property.

If your home has challenging access, please contact us before booking so we can bring the right equipment and team. Standard three-level walk-up apartment blocks fall within our normal scope and are not considered difficult access.

What if I can't find the brand or model I am looking for?

No problem at all. Our online range, while extensive, doesn't represent every brand and model we can source. If you can't find what you're looking for, simply fill out our contact form with the brand and model you have in mind and we will come back to you with a written quote.

Whether you have a specific brand loyalty, a model recommended by a trades person, or a requirement we haven't listed, we're happy to help you track it down and get you a competitive price.

Can I return an appliance if I change my mind?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept change of mind returns once an appliance has been delivered and installed. Because each appliance is professionally installed into your home, it cannot be returned to stock or resold, which means we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on this basis.

For this reason, we encourage you to take your time before purchasing. If you are unsure about a model, size, colour, or specification, please contact us before placing your order. Our team is happy to answer questions, provide measurements, and help you make a confident, informed decision before we arrive at your door.

Will you remove my old appliance?

Yes, removing and recycling your old appliance is part of our premium delivery and installation service.

Do I need to disconnect my old appliance before removal?

Nope. Our delivery and installation team will disconnect everything from power, gas, or water supplies when they arrive.

What do I need to prepare before delivery and installation?

If it’s a hot day, please switch on the air conditioning and clear the delivery path. Make sure the new appliance will fit through doorways, and if possible, arrange adequate parking so we can unload and load safely.

How much does installation cost?

Installation costs vary based on the appliance type and complexity of the job. All charges are clearly displayed on the product page and during checkout. We handle electric, gas, and water appliance installations. Please take special note of the possible additional charges which are sometimes required to bring the appliance installation to current Australian standards etc.

What appliances can you install?

Are your appliance installers licensed?

Absolutely. The Appliance Guys are fully licensed for gas, electric, and water appliances, with expertise in over 100 appliance brands.

 What if the appliance I want is out of stock?

You can still make the purchase that way you are first in line once the stock does arrive. You also have the ability to call us on 1300 567 637 or use the online chat to check availability and estimated restock dates.

Can I check stock before purchasing?

Yes. Stock status is shown on each product page, or you can confirm availability by contacting our customer service team via phone or chat. Stock levels can vary between warehouse locations.

What warranty comes with my appliance?

All appliances are brand new and include the manufacturer's warranty and are also covered by Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

What happens if my appliance is faulty?

If the appliance is faulty on the day of installation, we’ll simply replace it with a brand new, working unit. If an issue arises months or years later, you can either contact the manufacturer directly or reach out to our customer service team and we’ll lodge the warranty claim on your behalf.

How does your Price Beat Guarantee work?

Found the same appliance cheaper elsewhere? We'll beat that price. Just make sure the competitor's price includes everything, the appliance itself, delivery, installation, and removal of your old one. You'll need to show us proof (screenshot, catalogue, or webpage link), and the product needs to be available for us to purchase when you make the request. Note: We won't price match clearance or end-of-line sales.

Do you have sales or discounts?

We run an everyday low price model instead of having periodic sales. Our prices are consistently discounted from recommended retail, so you're getting a solid deal whenever you shop. Occasionally, we'll have sales when brands decide to clear out stock.

Do you deliver to my area?

Full delivery service (including installation and old appliance removal) is available in Sydney, Wollongong, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, and Caboolture. Outside these areas? Contact us through our form and we'll see what we can arrange.

How long does delivery take?

If the appliance is in stock, expect delivery and installation within 1-4 days depending on your location. If we need to order it in, allow 5–7 days for it to reach our warehouse, then another 1-4 days for us to schedule delivery and installation. On the day installation typically takes 30-90 minutes once our team arrives.

What appliances are included in the free delivery?

Free delivery covers ovens, dishwashers, cooktops, stoves, rangehoods, fridges, freezers, TVs, heat pump dryers, front load washing machines, hot water systems, air conditioning systems, microwaves, and sinks & taps. If we are going to install it, we will deliver it for free.
