The Appliance Guys x Foodbank Fooddrive
On any given day in Australia, more than half a million households are struggling to put food on the table. Over 464,000 children in NSW & ACT lived in severely food-insecure households in the past year, and each month, 337,000 households in NSW & ACT receive assistance from food relief organizations like the Food Bank. It is difficult to comprehend that this is happening in our own backyard.
So, we made the decision to lend a hand, and during the month of March, The Appliance Guys organized a food drive to collect products that are desperately needed to assist Australians who are going through difficult times all over the country.
Members of the Appliance Guys community, including employees, friends, and customers, banded together. The Appliance Guys technicians retrieved donations on the road from customers, and we were overcome by the kindness of their contributions. We received bags full of contributions and we are so grateful to our clients and the TAG community for their assistance in helping us provide these families in need with much-needed items.
