Standard Electric & Induction Cooktop Installation Scope of Works

Please note that our electric cooktop and induction cooktop installation price covers a like-for-like installation. This means the new cooktop is the same type as the one being replaced, with no changes to the location, size, or energy supply requirements.

As part of our Standard Installation Scope of Works, the following items will be included in this installation:

• Deliver the new electric or induction cooktop.

• Check the surrounding area for existing damage.

• Ensure the new electric or induction cooktop will fit correctly into the existing space.

• Isolate the electricity supply to the existing electric or induction cooktop.

• Test to ensure it is off.

• Remove and disconnect the old electric or induction cooktop.

• Install and connect the new electric or induction cooktop.

• Secure new electric or induction cooktop in place as per manufacturer specifications.

• Restore electricity supply to the electric or induction cooktop.

• Test all functionality on the new electric or induction cooktop.

• Remove all styrofoam & stickers.

• Run a basic demo on how to use the electric or induction cooktop.

• Remove all rubbish from the property.

• Clean & tidy the work area.

Electric & Induction Cooktop Installation Exclusions

Please note that our installation service does not cover the following:

Structural Modifications: Adjustments to cabinetry or benchtop cutting.

Electrical Work: Any electrical wiring or outlet installations, upgrades, or relocations.

Additional Parts and Accessories: Any additional parts, accessories, or materials required for installation that are not included with the new electric or induction cooktop, as well as specialty fittings, or adaptors needed for non-standard installations.

Carpentry Work: Custom carpentry work to fit the electric or induction cooktop into non-standard cabinetry spaces, including adjustments or modifications to kitchen cabinets or shelving.

Relocation Services: Moving the electric or induction cooktop to a new location within the home that involves electrical changes.

Please ensure that all necessary preparations are made before our installation team arrives. If any of the above exclusions apply to your situation, please review our potential additional charges.

To ensure the new cooktop can be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications and Australian Standards, the following items may need to be installed at an additional cost.

- 1 x Supply & Install 60cm Stainless Steel Surround Trim - $298.00 Inc GST

- 1 x Supply & Install Custom Stainless Steel Surround Trim - $398.00 Inc GST

- 1 x Adjust timber benchtop cut out - $179.00 INC GST

- 1 x Adjust & wet cut stone bench - $398.00 INC GST

Old Cooktop Removal

All electric and induction cooktop installations come with a free appliance removal service where our team will remove your old cooktop and ensure that it is recycled.

Economic Cooktop Delivery Service

Please note that as part of our door-to-door cooktop delivery service, cooktops will be delivered in their original packaging. The goods will not be unboxed.

This service does not include installation or the removal of any packaging or existing appliances.

Cooktops, including original packaging and trolley, must be able to fit through all doorways, access points, and stairs at your nominated delivery address.

If this is not possible, the driver will endeavor to leave your item as close as possible to your requested location.

Delivery drivers have the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if, in their opinion, doing so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access.

Our drivers may refuse to place your new cooktop in your nominated location if they believe doing so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access.

If you wish to change the delivery date or address, you must notify the our team from which you originally purchased at least 24 hours prior to the delivery date. If you are not home at the time of delivery, you will be liable for a second delivery fee.

Premium Cooktop Delivery Service

Our premium cooktop delivery service is available to our customers for an additional fee. To utilize this service, it must be requested and paid for either before or at the time of purchase of your new cooktop. Please review the following terms and conditions associated with this method of delivery:

The cooktop will be unboxed/unpacked and our delivery team will remove cooktop packaging for recycling.

You have the option to have your old cooktop removed by us, provided it is no larger or heavier than the replacement cooktop and has been disconnected from all services (power). Additionally, it must be clean and free of food, debris and vermin.

The cooktop along with the original packaging and trolley, must be able to fit through all doorways, access points, and stairs at your nominated delivery address. If this is not feasible, the driver will attempt to leave the item as close as possible, in their opinion, to that location.

Delivery drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if they believe doing so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves), or if the location has poor or restricted access.

Our drivers may refuse to place your new cooktop in your nominated location and/or remove your existing appliance if they believe doing so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves), or if the location has poor or restricted access.
